We bought a large Plankbridge Shepherd’s Hut five years ago which we rent out to visitors via Airbnb. It’s a huge success not just in financial terms but because we get such a lot of people coming here from cities stressed & leaving relaxed & recharged. It is also a place people come to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and special romantic moments - we have had four or five proposals happening on starlit nights sitting by the Indian Fire Bowl. All these joyous interactions with happy guests gives our otherwise fairly quiet life a lovely enhancement. People are always full of praise for the spacious feel, the really good bathroom, the workmanship & general stylish nature of our hut. It is one of the best things we’ve ever invested in and everyone who stays in ours goes away wishing they had one too! Shepherd’s Huts are magical, romantic & practical. What more could you want?

They are of the highest quality, finish and standard, we have enjoyed seeing our customers stay in them and have a great, comfortable and cosy stay. Our beautiful shepherds hut is now 10 years old and looks as wonderful when it first arrived in our canalside cutting garden. The quality of the hut, the fire, the lights, the door. Frankly, the windows are better than on our own house the Wharf! The hut is something I sought out, not just any old hut, but one that was made sustainably. This matters to me as I run my flower business on the same principle. The hut is a much treasured escape and inspiration professional made and one that supports my floral business. I look forward to the next decade sheltering under its curved roof, cool in summer and cosy in winter.

Staying in a Plankbridge shepherds hut has been one of the best experiences i've had this year. I'd never stayed in the shepherds hut of any kind before this point. The hot shower, beautiful kitchen, small wood-burning stove and really comfy bed was delightful. Can't wait to get one of my own.

The best things in life are worth waiting for. I have just taken delivery of two Plankbridge Shepherd’s Huts / Cabins and I am so pleased with them; they have more than exceeded my expectations. A traditional exterior reflects our architectural and agricultural heritage, whilst inside is a thoughtfully designed and quite charming living space with all creature comforts catered for. The whole having been executed to the highest standards using quality materials and fittings. I have found all members of the Plankbridge team, from design to delivery, to be unerringly polite and helpful. Product support has been excellent, and when a small problem developed, it was rectified on site, by a Plankbridge engineer, within a couple of days. It’s called ‘walking the talk’. To my mind, Plankbridge are the ‘Rolls Royce’ of shepherd hut manufacturers – accept no imitations.

After extensive research, Plankbridge were our only choice for our shepherdshut ~ personal service, attention to detail & a warm fuzzy feeling buying direct from quality craftsmen. We have been up & running as a b&b at Thehuteyam for 10 years now & couldn’t be happier with our little green hut. (In our opinion) no other huts compare……….

We ordered our first Shepherds hut from Plankbridge 12 years ago after fairly exhaustive research. We are now on no three, having sold the previous two with a property when we moved. They are simply the best, beautifully made and designed and the Plankbridge team are a delight to work with. Nothing is too much trouble and they are full of great ideas and suggestions. This hut is so warm in Winter (rather essential for Dartmoor) and with the doors flung open, it is a lovely retreat in the Summer. It's also much in demand by friends and family to stay in. The installation team were incredible, having squeezed the hut along narrow lanes and winched it into position with inches to spare. We use it every day and it is very much admired.

We really love our two Shepherd's Huts, and as a B&B our guests do too..... the quality and finish of Plankbridge's work is constantly picked up and they still look immaculate.
